Bacopa amplexicaulia can grow submersed or emersed, and when emersed it’s flowers are a small light blue.
It is a very hardy plant. But will die off in frosty conditions, so while it may suit ponds in certain areas of Australia it may struggle over winter in other states.
The colour of the leaves will vary depending on the light, in very high light or in a pond you will find a red or rusty colour, in low light the plant will become much more green.
Hardiness – easy, although does require medium lighting
Light needs – Medium to high
Growth rate – medium
Co2 – not required
