Bacopa monnieri is fairly hardy plant, and great for beginners, however it does require better light than its cousin Bacopa caroliniana. Without adequate lighting you will find Bacopa monnieri may tend to rot at the stems.
Bacopa monnieri grows to a medium height, it typically grows a little over 12 inches, however has been known get taller under the right lighting conditions. If left untrimmed it has been known to grow along the surface of the water and grow nice little white coloured flowers. Bacopa monnieri’s almost lime green leaves make an excellent addition to your aquarium
