The difference between COMPACT and PROFESSIONAL Regulator packages.
Both the Compact and Professional regulator packages are supplied complete with everything you require to get up and running with CO² Injection. However sometimes you might want to upgrade the method of diffusion. Some devices require alot of back pressure for them to work. The most common question we're asked is what is the difference between the compact and professional Regulators? Besides the obvious size difference the functional difference is the ability for each to hold 'back pressure'. The Professional unit has the ability to maintain high back pressure when there is restriction in the hose, for example when using an 'Inline Atomizer', where the compact cannot hold high pressure under the same circumstances. So Compacts are good for reactors and diffusers but not atomizers or if split to more than 2 tanks using diffusers. Professionals are good for any diffuser, reactor and atomizer.

UP-AQUA INTANK LONG TERM CO2 Monitor (D-515)
Carbon is the most essential nutrient in any planted aquarium. Maintaining the appropriate level of CO2 is critical, too much of it is harmful to fish/shrimp and too little will cause decline in plant growth. Counting the inject bubbles alone does not necessarily indicate the concentration of CO2 in your aquarium.
This CO2 monitor is a perfect visual guide of the levels of carbon dioxide in your water. The colour in the unit will change depending on the concentration. Blue means not enough CO2, yellow is too much and green indicates the proper level of CO2. CO2 Test Solution sold separately.
UP-AQUA Electronic PH Controller with Probe (D-806)
Latest UP High Precision pH Controller for Planted Tank. With this controller you can automate your CO2 dosing. Automatically turn your CO2 on/off as and when it’s needed.
Why also should we know pH range ?
pH value shows the acid or alkaline state of water (pH value equals 7 is neutral, it is alkaline as pH value is greater than7 and acid as pH value is less than 7), most of the fish can adopt to life in water around pH = 7, but many species have special water preferences.
